Day 1:
Arrive in Cuenca
Leave your home for Ecuador, arriving in Cuenca in the evening (8,399 feet / 2,560 meters). Our team will pick you up at the local airport and bring you to the hotel in the historic city center.

Explore the historical city, Cuenca is famous for its European architecture, beautiful churches, its 4 rivers, and the mountains view. After touring, we spend the afternoon preparing for the next day's hike.
Day 3:
Climbing Cojitambo
​
Cojitambo is a popular destination for rock climbing in Ecuador, located about 45 minutes south of the city of Cuenca. The area is home to a large volcanic rock formation with over 200 sport climbing routes ranging from beginner to advanced levels, making it a great spot for climbers of all abilities. Cojitambo also boasts stunning views of the surrounding Andean landscape, adding to the overall experience of climbing in this beautiful location.

Hiking Cabogana - Río Culebrillas

Climbing Cajas National Park

Located after a scenic walk of about one hour, Cochuma is a must-visit destination for climbing enthusiasts in search of a challenge and breathtaking views. With its six challenging climbing routes, Cochuma offers a diverse range of options that will test the skills of even the most experienced climbers.

Day 6:
Hiking Fasayñan
Fasayñan, also known as Cerro Fasayñan, is a sacred mountain located in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. It is considered a sacred site by the indigenous Cañari people, who have lived in the region for thousands of years.

Faysañan is known for its stunning natural beauty, with its snow-capped peak rising to an elevation of over 4,000 meters above sea level. The mountain is also home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including Andean condors, llamas, and vicuñas.

Bikepacking from Cuenca to Naranjal via Soldados is an adventurous and challenging route that showcases the beauty and diversity of the Ecuadorian landscape. The route covers a total distance of approximately 160 km and will be completed in 2 days.
